E, whatever it sounds like, that is going to be really cool!

it'll sound like a fender piano with single coil pickups and only 6 really short strings.

...anyone have any opinions regarding cozart guitars? is this a 'cort budget brand' or something? lots of interesting-looking cozarts on ebay...

Well , Birthday is almost here , but still no Guitar yet ... I've been eyeing some used Martin's HD28 and HD35 on Reverb some are under $2000 for 2000year models , kinda surprised . I'm kinda holding off ( procrastinating ) because I still have one more guitar to sell before I buy another ... I also still have my eye on a New Guild D20 ( which I'm leaning to over a used Martin) .. I love all Hog guitars ... My electric guitar lust has dropped . I haven't pulled the trigger on anything due to Hurricane IRMA ... Seeing I live on the Gulf Coast Area .

Can you guys see this image? Trying to see if I can trick google photos into sharing. Anyhow, finally getting round to installing the Emerson kit into my White Hawk loaded Stratafaker.

Since you know you won't like it, send it to me. I'll give it a good home :hihi:

Beautiful!

I'm tired of being treated like dirt by about 4 people, so I don't post here much.

But I want this:

With the success of the sub 5 string, I'd really like one in a 4. Love the color! Not sure why there are a couple made in China (this one) and many others made in Indonesia (like the one I have) :?

But probably won't buy though because I'm just not gassy enough. They have one locally. The neck feels like silk. The expensive "MIA" one they have here doesn't feel good at all :shrug:

Still, I know I'd have to spank out another 300 for the nordstrand system again. So I'll likely just pass for now. But it's the spankiest, slappin'-est bass I've played in a long time.

I am not a guitar player, all though I know a bunch of chords and scales. I played piano since I was 3 years old and I used to play drums and saxophone as well. My older brother was the guitar player in the family and I used to play on his Fender Squire. Finally I got the interest to buy myself a guitar and learn enough to play some simple stuff to my own music.

Lately I been watching a whole bunch of videos on youtube about guitar models and brands. My mind was set to buy a Fender Stratocaster as my first electric guitar but I kind of changed my mind. I am interested in Gibson models but they are quite expensive. My budget is somewhere around $750 and I found an Epiphone Les Paul Custom. The videos I saw on Youtube impressed me. It has 2 humbucker pickups but you can turn off the dual coil so it becomes single coils as well. This will give a sound that sort of remind me about Fender Strat as well.

I never heard about Epiphone before and I wonder if you good people can tell me if it would be a good first electric guitar or is Epiphone just a bleak copy of Gibson? How about quality in general?

I would be happy to get input from all of you that have experience of any Epiphone model

@ATN69
Why buy a lemon if you want an orange? Especially when there are succulent tangerines, clementines, and mandarins closer to your price range.

I've never played a good epi LP and I've played about 50 of them working in a guitar store. They've all been flawed purposely to get you to upgrade to the real thing. On the other hand there are exceptional playing, sounding and looking copies on the market.

Take a look at the Harley Benton
