I have a roland td6. i like it for the most part, but the hi-hat triggering is kind of iffy. I'd like something better than what I have.
Can I use a yamaha RHH130 hi hat controller with my td6? I've tried googling, and can't find info. It is the kind that fits on a real hi hat stand, and doesn't have a footpedal that transmits CC data (unlike my roland pedal.) there's a few cheap ones online i'm thinking about getting.
other suggestions welcome
thank you

That's weird. I had no problem finding big clues (e.g. in www.vdrums.com/forum) about that NOT working. Except maybe with some DIY alterations:I've tried googling, and can't find info.

So if you have some rubber bands and a cork: try it
But better buy a HiHat thingamabob that is guaranteed to be compatible.
