@Andy/Justin
Do you guys have the Elektron OT? Just debating whether to get this. Might be useful for mangling drum loops etc for my future sample packs. I'm already doing a pack this year for A4 and MD.

I have an Octatrack. It has become my favorite tool for mangling samples and modulated effects. It's very flexible and as a side effect, somethings were a bit tough to understand the first time I read the manual. It took me a while to figure out how the record tracks work.
The sample players are all monophonic and you only have a two-octave range for transposing but it is possible to work around those limits.
It's also an awesome multi-channel effect processor. Sometimes, I just use the Thru and Neighbor machines to process external signals.
I'm just starting to use the MIDI sequencing capabilities.
I don't know if I can recommend it. I really like it but not everyone does. If you get on well with the other Elektron boxes, you'll probably like the OT as well.

£780 + shipping is not that much cheaper than buying new. And what is it with all these UK sellers that don't want to ship outside the UK??rob_lee wrote:Somebody should grab this NO BRAINER now..
