Really think there is a certain amount of "Oh sh*t" going on at some companies right now

So this might have potential, I'll reserve judgement until I hear it. If it's just more cheese, then I'll pass. For me, it's all about how much effort went into the analog design.

But, that aside, is early 90s style live electronica making a comeback? If you've ever seen prototype 909 live, you'll know what I'm talking about.

I really like what they're saying about how six hands make a difference. One guy on the desk and two guys rocking the machines. This was super fun back in the day but live PAs like what these guys did really died out in the late 90s as everyone had moved to live and laptop performances.

Aaaaand this is how you kill Roland.

Looks like it could be The One ... and only $199? Can't wait to hear it :hyper:

I'm feeling this more than Roland's latest offerings, especially the price which I can actually afford.

I wonder what the bass synth will sound like with the sequencer - 303 ish?

Post

Looking forward to hearing some reviews. Hopefully the price isn't due to it being budget in terms of quality.

Akai's marketing surely makes it sound like it will be 303-ish. One can hope but the only way to truly tell will be when demos are available closer to this Summer.

Amazing. Won't be long before I can pick up some cheese, coke, toilet paper, drywall screws, batteries, a cellphone plan, a nice 4 pack of horror dvds and an analog synth all at walmart.

You can get coke at Walmart? :o :hyper:

Seems obvious. How else you keep all those workers so positive and productive?

You're talking about coca-cola, right?
