Without the keyboard the synth is $2499.00

Well considering the price of the 200e series this is a big thing. Especially since i think this new format will actually let you buy each module for Eurorack prices.

I'm pretty stoked though.

Biggest bang for the buck is the Phenol Modular, was under £500 when my payment went through, but then stirling is quite strong at the moment

The beauty of Buchla is that it doesn't really need keys to make its special beeps and boinks - so that's a huge money saver right there. Still miss my vintage 200...why I didn't keep it....oh, right, wouldn't fit in the backpack - damn you iPad!

I'm sure it's great, and the amount of features for the size is good, but it wouldn't be useful enough for me that I'd pay that price for it.
If he ever makes a compact synth with simple features for a good price, I may get it, mostly for the great sound of the unique oscillators and filter.
