Does anyone know of a *mini-key* 49- or 61-key midi controller? Seems like there's an unofficial cap at 37 keys.

Thanks!

Korg Microkey 61 - https://www.google.dk/search?q=korg+mic ... 1000%3B400

And you get a very generous software package on top.

Hey, thanks.

Let's say I wanted to automate something live and needed knobs/sliders. Would adding a nanokontrol do the trick?

There are quite a few controllers available on the market. I must admit I don't know if the nanokontrol is suitable for a live situation. I haven't tried it. Else there is Novation Launch Control without sliders http://www.thomann.de/dk/novation_launch_control.htm and Launch Control XL with sliders but larger http://www.thomann.de/dk/novation_launch_control_xl.htm.
There are also others like Akai APC mini: http://www.thomann.de/dk/akai_apc_mini.htm

Eric used to rock 3 nanokontrols when doing his presentations before the Omni TR app came out

I plan on picking up one of the nanokontrol2 models for portable use.
Feel free to call me Brian.
