Hi everyone.
I'm trying to find a drum machine I saw a couple of times in a studio in the 80s.
I think it was around 1984/85. I assume the machien was one or two years older. So may 81-83.
I think the widht might have been between 30-40 cm and teh depth maybe 20 cm. It was rather thick..maybe 5 or 6 cm. But my memories are very bauge.
On the right there was a keybad 0-9. On top of that there was a digital display. Not sure what you might call them. But, you know, they where red digits and black background. Very 80s type of display.
The buttons where black and liek squares. Apart form one button that was red.
On the left side, or left/center, there ware a few vertical rows with simular buttons. They where the drums. I think each row had 3-5 (vaugue) buttons per row. And there might have been maybe 4 or 5 rows.
The machine had CV/Gate but I can't recall that ti had any MIDI. The sounds where very analogue, pretty simular to the 808 , or actually to most drum machines around that time.
The whoe thign was fairly heavy and robust.
Any idea what it could have been?
