Hi there folks,

I have 2 threads going, on the KORG forum (no activity there in the Micro X/X50 subforum) and on the Reaper forum.

Bought a used Micro X a couple of days ago and can't for the life of me make the editor work. Neither standalone nor the VST (32/64-bit version/DAW respectively).

I downloaded all the latest Firmware, drivers, editor, manuals etc. and followed everything by the letter, although I'm in this game since maybe 15 years, so I'd like to think I know my way around drivers, windows, synths, hardware in general etc.

In the KORG forum they mentioned WIndows system MIDI slots and that the driver has to be on slot 1-9, anything above is not seen by windows.
Well, the KORG driver lives in slot 5, so it shouldn't be a problem?

If anyone has managed to make the editor work, I'd sure like to know how.

Thanks a lot for your help,

Raphael ;)

Btw: Micro X Firmware v1.0.5, KORG MIDI driver v1.15.00.03, KORG Kernel mode driver v1.07.00.01

OK, I solved the problem by uninstalling the editor and using the old one from the driver CD. At least it works now!!!
