thanks! Effectrix will not put out midi notes, but it will bring you some stunning fx performances. There is a modulation step sequencer inside, so
stepped filter sweeps or alternating loop sizes are no problem;)
We will not develop ERA further, but there will be some fresh news pretty soon!
best regards

Hi, we are ecurrently taking the last steps to the Effectrix release.
Here some fresh facts:
The Effectrix Effect Sequencer will contain 14 Effects:
XLoop
Loop
ScratchLoop
Reverse
Vinyl
Stretch
Tonal Delay
Crush
Filter
Phaser
Chorus
Delay
Reverb
Each effect has its own 32-step-sequencer for effect-activation and two modulation 32-step-sequencers.
The sequencers can run along your songposition or trriggered by midi notes.
You can trigger 12 different sequences via midi notes.
Host automation and Midi learn are fully integrated.
Overall it became a stunning tool for mashing up your tracks in
a convenient and straightforward manner.
The release is planned march 01. , 2008.
Your busy Sugar Bytes team!

I hope that means 'the mother of all step sequencers, the be all end all software step/matrix sequencer' is coming this year.Sugar Bytes wrote:We will not develop ERA further, but there will be some fresh news pretty soon!
Why? Because we all need one!
And because there ain't no body else to do it!

ok, firstly, I can't wait for effectrix.
secondly, I can't wait for the software step sequencer plugin (if it is in fact coming)... It would be great both in logic (hooking it up in the enviroment) or bidule...

True that... There is no perfectly working software step sequencer for os x or really even pc right now...

Hi, these new features sound great. One question: Can the 12 different sequences be changed/automated without midi note input? Ie. Is there some way to just use cc or host automation to change those 12 sequences? (Thus saving an extra midi track).Sugar Bytes wrote:Hi, we are ecurrently taking the last steps to the Effectrix release.

Great new screenshot on the site, definitely helps wet the appetite for friday.
One other thing - Assuming the effects are serial only (or is there a parallel mode?), what is the order of effects? And is that changeable like with artillery?
I'm going to have to not make plans this weekend....
