I feel a little stupid asking this, but how the heck do I set it up as an fx in Audiobus?
I tried it with the DM-1 drum machine, but the sound mutes when I insert Turnado.
Also tried to change the input of Turnado to external.

Make sure to send the Audiobus output to Speaker.dennisjr wrote:I feel a little stupid asking this, but how the heck do I set it up as an fx in Audiobus?

Nice and all, and I'll probably end up buying it.....but where is the update to Guitarist that you promised for last year? Was it put on hold to make this? Why no news?Sugar Bytes wrote:Hey all,

Hi there
Looks sweet. Especially after seeing Beardyman putting it to use in his Beardytron 5000 mkii setup! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQJbFFZiWVY
I'm just wondering if this Turnado ipad app if able to be used within Ableton through something like iConnect Midi?

This requires an iPad compatible audio interface.1deman wrote:How the heck do I put an external hardware synth through this? Can that be done?

Within? No. It is possible to route Ableton Live's audio signal through the iPad and synchronize Turnado via Midi Clock. Therefore you would need an iPad compatible audio interface. Don't know if this is really useful, may if you are DJing with Live.mozzatron wrote:I'm just wondering if this Turnado ipad app if able to be used within Ableton through something like iConnect Midi

Can you please make it possible for this to be a remote controller for the plugin version (like the Alchemy app does for Alchemy proper)? That would be awesome.

Is there a way to add landscape mode?Just put the XY controller on a seperate page would do the trick and i would buy it in a heartbeat
And did you even think about it to make it available as an iAP in Auria?Would be great.
This are the Audiobus and Auria threads about Turnado:

FAO the guys @ Sugarbytes... it seems there are a lot of people having glitch issues and crashes with the app...would this be due to the lack of processing power on older versions of iPad or is it a general bug that will be updated?

There are certain effects that need some more CPU (Vocodizer, Spectralizer).
You won't be able to use more then 2-4 of them simultanously on an iPad 2. Anyway most of the effects are really low on CPU and it should be no problem to run 8 loopers on an iPad 1. Also make sure that there are no other apps running in the background. After a reboot you will have the most processing power.
You can also lower the latency in Turnado to gain some processing power.
We are currently investigating the auria integration.
We are also investigating whether to implement landscape mode.
Note that the iOS 5.x issues will be fixed with the upcoming 1.0.1 update.
We propably won't make it a remote app for the VST/AU version, because we thing there are good generic MIDI remote apps out there.
I wish you a glitchy weekend.
