Hi there,

Soundwise WOW 2 is great, but I'm missing two things:

1) Sidechain input for the envelope follower
2) The ability to trigger envelopes via midi notes

Is there a chance that we'll see those in the (near) future?

Regards,
Andre

So, is that a yes, no, maybe?

Hi,

we have Sidechain input on the list for a bigger update in the not so near future.
Starting and holding the envelope with a midi note is also a very good idea, just added!

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. I think WOW2 is a great plugin, I guess now is the right time to pull the trigger.

Any ETA on this update?

Thanks!

Does this mean you will have a vst 3 version of wow2 coming?

I'm watching some demos and side-chain input was almost the first thing I wondered about. I'd be keen to know if the "not so near future" is significantly closer now? :)

Kind regards,

Matt

- Allow more and less sequence steps, e.g. only 8.

- Allow a seperate playhead for the sequence to allow you to start from any step within the sequence.

Maybe it would be nice if the cutoff frequency could track an input MIDI note, by an adjustable proportion as on many monosynths?

Perhaps the lowest octave MIDI notes could be reserved for triggering the envelope and changing other parameters? So then cutoff increases/decreases from the set value proportionally following input MIDI notes in the remaining octave?

While you're at it a wet/dry knob for the distortion would be most useful.

Change filter type with midi learn and/or program change.
Midi learn vowel on/off.
Overall better functionality for live use.

Post

Auto gain compensation would be nice as some distortion modes get loud quick.
