I am editing this post, either i was unclear or it was too long...

Could the developers advise how this can be used with other apps when Effectrix is not receiving midiclock? For example, will live mode or free mode let me record ad-hoc into Effectrix itself, so that i can loop something and tweak effect?

Kind of hard to play another app or synth and 'imagining' what i will do with Effectual after i swap views, so any advice on workarounds or nonclocked methods via audiobus would be rad, thank you...
