Egoist starts making high pitch noise in Logic X

I use Egoist in a real world project in a track with other instruments and plugins, and after a while I use it,. after a few minutes to a couple of hours, the plugin start emitting a very high pitch noise that never stops. I have to silence it or remove it/reapply the plugin. Can't seem to find a solution for it and seems a bug to me.
Anyone else is experiencing the same issue?

DAW: Logic X 10.0.7
OS: Mac OS X 10.9.4
Plugin v: Egoist v1.0.3
Interface: Apollo Quad with via thunderbolt
