Not sure if this already exists, but I did not see it.
I would like to be able to change the color of the keyboard keys based on chosen keyswitches and grouping.
For example, say I want the lower octave to be drums, the next octave to be strings, the following octave to be brass, etc. I would want to color each octave differently so that the user would know the organization.
Is this available?
If not, is it able to be added in a future release?

There is a workaround for this that I've used for the past few plugins.
You create multiple keyboard instances and line them up. Let's say your instrument range is 36 to 54. Well, then create a keyboard from 36 to 54. Then create one from _ to 35 and another from 54 to _ (the _ being wherever you need to fill up the width of the GUI) Line up all three so they match up in a row. Color the white keys on the keyboard sections that are not usable in your plugin grey or do whatever coloration you desire. Notice that it is BEST to split your keyboard between B and C or E and F for best results- splitting it over a black key will not look great.
