Are there plans to 'expose' arguments inside subcircuits?

From the manual: "Be aware that an argument hidden inside a
subcircuit (a circuit inside another one) will not show up in the plugin."

This is making things very inconvenient for me at the mooment. I have a quite deeply nested circuit structure, and i want to expose arguments deep withing that structure in the plugin's interface. To do so at the moment i have to go through the repetitive process of adding new inputs, and giving them all the same names, for every parent subcircuit above the argument i want to expose. All the way up to the root level. Just so i can have those controls appear in the GUI.

Are there any plans to change how this works and allow subcircuit arguments to appear in the GUI?
