knob boxes

HI,

Is possible to control SB plug-in from a knob box or joy to knob box in mac osx ?

I don't have a midi port but i think to use a usb adaptor or something...

I want to make a preamp/mixer like mostec or jah tubby pre for reggae sound system works.

Also is possibile to record (in a list) the movement of the knob...so i can after the session replay it...in SB or i need external program ?
