Postby zkarcher; Mon Oct 06, 2008 12:40 am FFT Convolve element makes a buzzing sound

Hi, I'm experiencing a problem with the FFT Convolve element. When I convolve two FFT transforms (using the real and imaginary components of the transforms as input), then through an inverse FFT, the resulting audio is always filled with a clicking/buzzing sound.

Smaller FFT Sync values produce higher-pitched buzzing sounds.

Any idea what's causing this? I have recorded samples of this effect and am studying the waveforms, and also digging through the source code; I really have no idea what's causing this.

Oddly enough, the Convolution Reverb element sounds OK.

Let me know if I can help. Thanks!
