Is there a MIDI OUT object?

Hi everybody,

I have not used SonicBirth so far since I don't have a Mac available at the moment.
I want to write a VST / AU plugin as a remote control for a hardware instrument and I'm looking for a solution to do this on a mac. Is it possible to send data to external instruments via physical MIDI OUT?

short answer: No, so far there is no way to transmit Midi data from the VST to your hardware instrument

I also didn't find anything.

I made a Drum Replacement Plugin to retrigger drums.
But insted of shoting Samples out of the Plug i want to Trigger a Trumsampler or Record it on a Miditrack to trigger a Sample with random Samples (of the same drumsound)

On Rolls or fast BD beats this brings more natural feel.
