Hi chokehold,
Well, let's be honest, the current GUI of SB v2 is really ugly, and barely usable! Right now I'm focusing on the engine, but eventually I'll hire a UI/UX designer to work on the look and workflow of the app.
Also, I implemented the bassdrum from v1, just for kicks (haha!):

Still need a proper ADSR module.

Be aware that at this moment, any plugins exported using SB v2 will expire at the same time than the build you used.Musik Man wrote:Hi Antoine would it be possible to include Software Protection inside SonicBirth 2.0 to protect our Created Plugins Something Similar to EXEShield for Mac http://www.exeshield.com/mac.html
I'm guessing you want to protect created plugins in order to sell them, which brings me to an unresolved point: the revenue model for SonicBirth v2.
I haven't decided yet what's the best way about it. I'm still considering options.

Antoine, it seems there's a problem with the Windows VSTs exported with the May 25th build.

No, not true, it seems to be working!Kewl wrote:Doesn't work. http://www.sounddesigners.org/phpbb3/vi ... 26#p119126makira wrote:Can you test this build?
The plug-in I first gave them to test had no parameters, so that was kind of a problem. I gave them an other to test, with parameters, and it seems to be working.

I would say that now plug-in naming/company/subtype is becoming a bit more important, even at this stage.

Hello Makira and others
In 2008 OSX was Leopard, and I was happy to use the former 1.3.0 SonicBirth to develop a patch for my music. Since that, my component was also regularly downloaded by other musicians from my website (search CEPBinaural). So I am now aware to provide a stable and reliable thing, even if it is free.
My present system is OSX Lion and the component still works fine with Logic Pro and others.I use it everyday for music spatialization in my compositions. Thanks to Antoine!
My first question is: should it continue to work in SB 1.3.0 on Mountain Lion? I'm afraid because Mountain Lion rejects a lot of previous apps, drivers...
The second question: should the .sbc source of my patch be compatible with the future 2.0 Sonicbirth stable release or I shall have to rewrite it from scratch?
Sorry if a similar question was still answered in this forum.
