Do sequencers (Hyperion, Circuit, ...) receive MIDI CC messages?

Hi

Is Hyperion able to receive MIDI CCs directly from its MIDI input or a "cc to param" layer between hypercube and hyperion is needed?

i never build such things into my vst (albeit ccs being selectable mod sources on send panels) as the hosts i use have their own interface for assigning automation. i figured this was a standard feature in most hosts for years
