Hello. I like this plugin very much, because it is flexible for me and offers some good settings.

Unfortunately I have a problems with it.

I use Reaper DAW v 4.22, so it is newst version and sometimes
I get a mega CPU usage from the Engineers Filter --> up to
40 % of CPU.

Why ?

I would like to add that it goes from the 1 instance of plugin.

could this be a denormal issue? i.e. does it occur some time after the input goes silent, or is it generally the case?

This is happening with me too (also in reaper). Too bad, i was just loving this filter!

Also, the CPU usage indeed gets high (up to 111%! haha) when the plug-in is inactive. Then i trigger some audio and it goes back to around 1%.

I tested it with reaper 4.54 and I don't have any cpu spikes. I've tried out various scenarios but nothing yet.
