not bad for a free eq. but how can you work with it? it can't mute a single frequency-band (it delete it immediatly). thats essential for me (like A/B) or i oversaw something?

some people prefer linear phase EQs for mastering. EasyQ is minimum phase. however, there can valid points be made, why either type of phase-response may or may not be advantageous in a mastering application.

the "Mode" menu for each node has also a "Bypass" mode. i guess (:hihi: - yeah, it's long ago), i included it for specifically this purpose.murnau wrote:not bad for a free eq. but how can you work with it? it can't mute a single frequency-band (it delete it immediatly). thats essential for me (like A/B) or i oversaw something?

Linear phase EQ fans should also keep in mind that analog EQs are all minimal phase, or completely f-up phase. Linear phase EQ is only possible to make with DSP. I personally never use them. Don't care. It's more essential to get the frequencies and dBs right. If you EQ it badly, it'll sound bad no matter what kind of EQ you're using.
