Andy,

Is it possible to give us a list of all the files and where they should be put on our computers and what they do. I have a lot of files in my downloads with names such as "Piano-B.CKi" but I have no idea where to put them or what they are for. I imagine it's a soundbank, so my instinct says to put them in the same folder as their VST eg. "Piano-B.CKi" into the Piano B folder - etc..
Where, for example, are teh microtone files supposed to live? in the VST or in the root. I'm a bit of a "file structure" amateur.

Hi

You can put the VST's anyhere you like in your VST plugs directory, and yes you are correct, the CKi soundbanks must be in the same folder level as the equivalent Piano dll.

The Microtuner files has an installer and can be installed anywhere on your machine, a config (txt) file is created on your C: root which holds this location. These are shared by all hgsounds synths so you only need to install them once.

hope this answers your q's :)

take care
Andy
