Media files not staying looped in sub-session

I am running one song with multiple sub-sessions. Some of those sub-sessions have audio files associated with them. One of them should be looped but when it is and I save the sub-session and session file the next time it is not looped.
I think this may be the expected behaviour within a sub-session. Can anybody confirm this and if so is there anyway around this? I currently have to remember to set the file to loop when selecting that sub-session.
