I am attempting to use MVintageRotary (v8.04) in Logic Pro X (v10.0.7) running under Mac OS X 10.9.4

I have one (1) stereo audio track and one (1) instance of MVintageRotary.

The project sample rate is 96 kHz.

I/O Buffer Size: 1024

Process Buffer Range: Large

When I press play, Logic stops and immediately displays the message "System Overload. The audio engine was not able to process all required data in time. (-10011)"

MVintageRotary is the ONLY active plug-in.

All other MeldaProduction v8.04 plug-ins are working correctly.

Please advise.

Thanks!

I just tried and found no problems, the new version behaves more or less the same way (probably slightly faster).

So please try to restart your computer (always do that with Mac OS X), and ensure there is no antivirus or anything. If it won't help try installing 8.03 (or the other version you had before) from

to see if it helps. Please let me know.

1. Completely removed MVintageRotary, including all preference and data files
2. Installed and tested MVintageRotary v8.00, v8.01, v8.02, v8.03 and v8.04
3. Restarted after every install
4. None of the MVintageRotary v8.xx builds are working at 96 kHz:
- The "System Overload" error occurs immediately when starting playback.
5. They ARE working correctly at 44.1 kHz

Ok Simon, so the main question - did it ever work? I'll check when possible.

Ok, so I checked and it works here on a MacBook Pro 2011, but the CPU requirements are really high. I checked and the plugin is doing what it is supposed to, but the algorithm itself takes really a lot of CPU in high simpling rates. So I'll add it to to-do list and it shall be optimized in forthcoming versions.
