Im interested in grabbing this plugin in the near future as it can replace lots of the functions of anothe set of plugins I use regularly. I understand the standard technical uses of this type of processor for noise reduction and addressing difficult mix problems, but I'm curious if it can do some of the weirder things I'm used to being able to do in a more sound design context. For instance, I'm wondering if you can set the gat module to boost signals when they drop below the threshold instead of attenuating them. This can make some very neat and dynamic sounds from little snippets of field recording or make a whispered voice sound like a weird monster. Is this something that's possible?

Of course it can do some really crazy stuff!! Just check it out . To be perfectly honest, the full potential of the plugin hasn't really been explored yet .
