Anything like Zynaptiq Morph?

Maybe a little off topic. I could start a new thread about this, but I just started diving into Soundhack's pvoc kit and spectral shapers and am getting some unique and astounding results with them. Not unlike the sounds I get from MMorph but easier and more plentiful! In particular ++pvocloop, ++spiralstretch and ++morphfilter. Thought it was worth mentioning. Anyone else used these?

Morphing a baby into a diaper.
And then:
Morphing a cat into a toilet.

It should sound funny.
I hope you all laugh now.

But then the question arises what we are going to do with a baby-morphed diaper-cat-toilet-audio-file-sounding-almost-like-a-train-but-more-like-a-prgnant-dog-parrot, stick it on the bathroom wall? Voodoo-dance around it in awe chanting KYMA - KYMA, sell it on ebay? Question, questions...

I see what you're saying, but I'm talking about doing a regular analysis/analysis/comparison/transformation cycle. Each analysis stage would be X samples based on the spectral settings size, e.g. 2048 samples per analysis, then the transformation would be X samples too, again based on the spectral setting size. It would incur a large delay to perform this, but that's what plugin latency compensation is for. It's absolutely possible to do this in 'realtime' if you dont mind the delay. At least that's my suggestion, again, the results may be horrible, but I'd really interested in this!Sampleconstruct wrote: The new spectral morphing in Alchemy 2 can do this, depending on how much time you invest and how carefully you prepare the involved samples the results are pretty spectacular. But I doubt this can be a real time process for an FX plugin transforming an incoming audio stream, all necessary calculations (formant analysis and so forth) in Alchemy 2 is done when you re-synthesize the samples and I guess Kyma works the same way. So I assume Vojtech would need to release some sort of standalone app or morphing synth in order to do this kind of thing.
Unfortunately Alchemy is obviously Mac only now, so that's not an option for me
I suspect Vojtech is not interested in the above idea for some reason... but I'd be super interested in any other spectral type effects he dreams up. Can you image a MFrequencyFun, similar to MBitFun

Sounds like the love-child from the union of MMorph and MTransformer!Sampleconstruct wrote:So I assume Vojtech would need to release some sort of standalone app or morphing synth in order to do this kind of thing.
Maybe Vojtech could set something up for Valentine's day

i, for one, would (still) be glad to know when it price will morph from 75€ to 149€ !

It will be a continuous morph over the next years, so just jump on one of those eternal madness sales.Krakatau wrote:i, for one, would (still) be glad to know when it price will morph from 75€ to 149€ !

of course, i should have expected it!!!Sampleconstruct wrote:It will be a continuous morph over the next years, so just jump on one of those eternal madness sales.Krakatau wrote:i, for one, would (still) be glad to know when it price will morph from 75€ to 149€ !

Can't you do this with a wavetable in Serum, morphing from sawtooth to sine over 256 steps, controlled by a modulator?
Jedinhopy wrote:What i am trying to get with MMorph is this:
Simple morphing scenario:
Sound A is a 500 Hz sine wave.
Sound B is a 900 Hz sine wave.
The morphing transition between (Sound A) and (Sound B) should sound like the (Sound A) that is playing a 500 Hz sine wave is pitch bending into the 900 Hz frequency.
Complex morphing scenario:
For example pitch morphing a sawtooth waveform into a single sine wave will move all
frequencies towards the single frequency that the sine wave plays.
When morphing has gone from A to B.
All FFT paritals will play the exactly same frequencies because the sound B is only a solo monophonic sine wave.
During the transition between sound A and sound B.
Frequencies will bend upwards and downwards at the same time.

Ok folks so, probably dedicated topics would be useful . Anyway:
- Intro price at least until the end of the month.
- Spectral morphing will definitely be in MYYY. Note that wavetable morphing is something much simpler than that. But check MSubSampleSynthesizer in MDrummer . I used it to get some crazy sound effects there .

Hey there Vojtech, just wanted to chime in here and tell you how much I appreciate the recent plugs that you have added to the bundles.
So instead of saying how "great you are" like some of the overly enthusiastic fans around here, I will simply, and succinctly say...
"Thank You" Heh heh,...because I like your work, dude.

Mmorph sounds great, is priced fair (especially with the introductory price), and uses sane copy protection that doesn't bother paying customers. Instant buy! Thanks Vojtech!
