I've been looking closely at Mxxx this week, with it being on sale. And of course, as usual, Simon's videos help to sway me to part with some cash. But I've been testing the demo in Ableton on my Windows 10 laptop, and I'm finding that Mxxx consistently crashes Lives after I play around with it for a while. I think it usually happens while randomizing patches- the interface will lock up, whatever audio is in the buffer will freeze and repeat, and I'll have to kill Live completely. I haven't tested with any other DAWs yet, and I'm hoping that this isn't a universal problem.

Ha, I have the same issue in Cubase when stepping through presets while playback is on. It crashes every now and then, mostly when more complex presets are involved.
Which interface do you use? Please report this issue to Melda, it might shed more light on what the root cause could be.

I wasn't even using an interface. Just on board sound with ASIO4ALL.
