delay compensation/adjustment for midi control of linear phase/oversampled processors

it'd be good if there was an adjustable delay to the midi control signal (the midi panel over wav) equivalent to the processors' latency (manually adjustable to compensate for other daw issues....) . just thought i'd share my moment's frustration

Well, the host should do that, anyways it depends on the case, sometimes it is a bit problematic to know if you want it early or late actually. Since you didn't say anything about which plugin are you talking about, I'm just brainstorming. Anyways this is a rather complex thing.
