Hello,
I would like to slowly build a pattern. To do so, I would like to start with the DAW transport rolling and MDrummer rolling with an empty beat. So I can add/remove basic percussion elements. The problem is, as shown below, once MDrummer has played an empty beat, it will jump to the next beat that has notes in it (in the example below, the D key). So it's not possible to even work with removing/adding/moving a single snare hit in an empty pattern.
Is there a way to make MDrummer stick to play a pattern even if it is empty ?

Well, you can probably hit Record, but disable the Record replace in Functions.

Having the record replace disable will not prevent the jumping from a currently empty pattern to one that has some notes in it, as soon as play is clicked.
So instead I just put an 'anchor' in the pattern, eg. another instrument whose volume is muted.
Cheers.

Hmmm, interesting solution, but why the hell not!
