Hi,
I absolutely love the sound of Evolution Steel Strings, but I find the way that different articulations are triggered to be cumbersome and unintuitive. I would like to reassign the triggering of legato and slide articulations to keyswitches, but it appears from the documentation that this is not possible. Please tell me I'm wrong, that there is a way to do this.
Again, I love the quality of the samples, but unfortunately I never use it because, for me, it's too difficult to get it to do what I want.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
Ben

Hi Ben,
You can create a custom keyswitch to turn the legato on or off by setting the default legato range to "off". Then create a layer with the condition being a non-latching keyswitch, and make that change the legato range to whatever you want (for example, a minor 3rd).
Kind regards,
Greg

Thanks, Greg. That's great. Can I do something similar with slides so that they're associated with a keyswitch rather than a controller?
