I recently had to convert all my Kontakt libraries to NCW to save space. Going through the process, almost all the libraries when converted had a bunch of leftover samples that Kontakt didn't touch because it thought they weren't being used. With EEG the result is a lot different, there are 177 samples that Kontakt didn't convert.
My question is would it be Kontakt's fault and these samples are not safe to delete?

I notified Greg about this, as I found it weird, too. Sounds like Kontakt's error.

I remember looking into this a while back. The number of unused samples should be more around a dozen--there are just a few unused effects (I hit the sample total limitation you can have in a single library in Kontakt 2), and that should be all.
However, if the library loads fine after converting it to NCW, I think you should be fine. I'll look into the problem again to see if I can figure out why so many samples aren't being converted.
