I don't know if this had been said before, couldn't find anything about it.
For the owners of Real guitar and OTS Guitars:
Have you tried to use the strum mode of Real guitar in OTS Guitars? This to me is - at least for the normal cord strumming - working quite well. Also, the melodic patterns in Real guitar can be used.
For those who don't own Real guitar, there is a no cost way to try out a strumming engine.
Indiginus made a free version of the Acoustic guitar collection available, a strum engine included.
That's not perfect, because the pressed key of OTS Guitars on some techniques needed to be muted, but the results are not bad. Just a suggestion
P.S. Being myself far from an expert on Kontakt I assume you know how to use the scripting of the Kontakt Engine outside of Kontakt (or, of course, inside as well)
If not:
On + Options + Engine + choose options + I have "script generated notes" and "scriopt generated CC's" set ON. Then you route to the desired Midi channel of the instrument you want to strum.
