Hi, I mentioned this before in another thread but just thought I'd ask specifically. I am wanting to purchase Stratosphere (already own steel strings) - but I am worried that my rather elderly PC may not be up to the job. I mistakenly mentioned to Greg before that I had 32gb RAM - I must have been on the rum and coke because I have 12gb ram. Full spec is below........
Asus PX658D-E motherboard
CPU - i7 930 @2.8 ghz
Memory - 12gb DDR3 (had it in my head I had 32gb ram!!!!)
OS - Windows 7 64 bit on a 256gb SSD drive
Nvidia - Nvidia GeForce GT610
Soundcard - NI Komplete 6
Thanks for any advice.
Will my PC handle Stratosphere

I think you should be okay--if you can run EAG Steel Strings, it's not that much of a stretch. Some factory presets use more CPU than others, but that's just due to the built-in effects. At least on my system, with all the effects bypassed, the CPU usage for normal playing should be comparable, and sometimes even a little less than in the old Evolution guitar engine.
