Sliding with Dracus

I am trying to slide up an octave, using pitch bend or legato. The pitch bend seems to play a few notes along the way as it is bending up. 1 part way up then 1 at the end of it.

I cannot get the legato to trigger. I thought one simply had to overlap notes.

Any ideas?
