Hi,I`m new here. I sent message to Orange Tree Samples 2 times and 3rd on facebook private message, getting no answer for 3 days.
I`m interested to know does this library having stops options 2/4/8/tutti or just last one?
Also does it contain key noise, since such a thing is crucial for realism of harpsichord?
Kind regards,
Dado.

Hi Dado,
I replied to your Facebook message--not sure if you got that or not.
Angelic Keys is a Virginal harpsichord, so it doesn't have stops--each key plucks a single string. That's what gives it a quieter, pure sound.
Any key noise included would be what was naturally picked up by the microphones. The instrument was sampled manually, so you're getting "real" key noise, as opposed to a solenoid based system of triggering the keys.
Since the release sounds are pretty audible on the instrument, we included both a volume control for the releases as well as a "tightness" control that lets you make the release samples decay faster.
Kind regards,
Greg
