Okay, this is fucktarded. 10 songs is so few.

I'm going to start out with a some appologies to the following artists:

Thomekk
herodotus
donkeyt
Andreas Ehrhardt
You™
ZioKiller
Techbot

You all did wonderful songs, some of them connecting with me on a very personal level. But my top 10 ended up being the following . . .

. . . wait for it. I solved my having to judge these songs by arranging them in the order I'd play them on a radio station. I feel strongly that they're all equal in merit.

1. Alex James - GrabaCab: Dude, I love the music in this and the sense of dark urban Chinatown-kinda goings on is so intense . . . excellent work.
2. Beardedone - Vurtstock: Definitely has your mark and spark of skewed genius. It rocks and it works SO well after GrabaCab!
3. Knockman - Vurtstock Dreaming: Totally, totally awesome song! Everything I love about your work and more. This is a real gem and an incredible step forward from the other songs I've heard by you. Kudos, dude. Extra 8) and groovy!
4. Barnadine - A (Not) Very Cellular Song: Not sure how to say it other than, I LOVE this song! Funny, I started out wanting to do a Syd Barrett style PF song (and gave up on that), only to be told my song sounds like Incredibel String Band. Here you set out to do ISB and I hear a Syd Barrett kind of little fairytale. Go figure.
5. Glassback - Garden Party: I almost (almost) threw a bong hit sample into my song. So glad to hear someone didn't Just Say No. Awesome song. Reminds me of a lot of things including Hardfloor's song Bevis Goes To Bat and even some old stuff I've done with friends.
6. Markleford - Sax, Dub, Understanding: Really like this. Sax plus synths. It works. It really does!
7. Col.G - KvR Rabbit: There are problems with this song, as much as I've praised it before. It doesn't sit well in a mix of other songs 'cause the overall volume isn't up to snuff . . . and the very last vocals are really kind of painful. BUT! Wow! You've more than nailed the early psychedelic sound and the lyrics are a riot! But the Donkster actually said "c**t off" not "feed your head." Oh well, artistic liscense and all that!
8. Griels - That Vurty Feeling: Cracks me up. Not always people actually get humor in their music as well as their vocals. This even has a bit of a Residents sound in the vocals. Awesome!
9. Hovmod - Surfing the rings of Saturn: That Pink Floyd sound is totally irresistable. Someone said they thought it was like PF from their Animals album, I think it's a little more Wish You Were Here. What ever, great rocking tune and an incredible intro. Sweet job!
10. vurt and friends - all you need is bud: Classic ending track for a terrific bunch of really incredible songs. This is the big AHHHHHHHHHH! after a perfect concert experience. Lush and enfolding. Can't beat that!

Peace, love and ham sandwiches all around y'all! 8)
