Thanx.
Hey annode,

I very rarely use the soundforge wavehammer plugin. Don't have anything against it, just don't use it much.

As far as Creamware... I consider myself somewhat of a CW fanatic. I have the Scope Proffesional card and a Scope Home card chanied, and will probably get a 3rd one in the future. I really love the cw modular, fx, samplers and synths, but I use the cw stuff more on my Elmoot project than Faxi Nadu.

For the Faxi Nadu project I usually use a lot of audio parts, a few vst synths and the host of fx in logic audio. I find the fx pack in logic complete and very very solid sounding , and rarley use vst fx at all.

What I did use cw for in these tracks is the occasional synth line, mainly the Creamware Minimax (awsome, awsome sounding beast, you can hear it doing some hot lines in the last track of the set) and the Creamware Vectron.

I also used the Creamware mastering plugin Optimaster on a lot of these. I am not sure on the algorithms and codes in the Optimaster but it sounds to me that it other than the compression, expansion and limiting tools it incorporates it uses some form of phase-aliging ie BBE Maxizer. I usually use the compression algorithms there and leave the normaliser off, and do that with waves L2.

no mac, logic 5 on amd 2700 :D

imo even if it is somehwat outdated for pc, logic is still the most open sounding and solid production software, mostly because of the fx package and the sound quality.

Thanx so much for your details.
I like HW,but without a solid sounding/performing pc you`ll never get the full guts out of your outboard gear.
So this imfo is most useful!

BTW...your programming is tops!

Very well done !
Usually when I stumble on this kind of track, it seems to be made by some lazy untalented wanker most of the time ...
Here things are moving / morphing / evolving all the time and in a good thougthful way for me ! :)
I have no idea how it compares to the best of this scene tho ...
It's a keeper for me whatsoever, large spectrum of rythms to move some ass ! :D
