You know after listening to this latest addition I really had the feeling that the kickdrum should be dropped as it feels so posessively banging. In fact the drums feel quite cliché here I must admit, but moreso imo distracting from the great movement in sounds in the back.
So, I played the previous ones again and in the all of them you used a way darker more reverbed kick and it feels much better with the backgrounds happening in those.
Hearing prototype C again makes me wonder why you didn't continue on this path. You created a great olden techno swing that I remember from those minimalistic times (if I had my record collection I could instantly find some names I'm trying to remember but .....)

You know it was an experiment to combine some of the oldskool sounds and some newer bassdrums/effects. i was thinking pretty the same things as you, but i dont wanted to close that door and so i posted it here. thanks for your comment. the next one will stay on the darker side.
