Well, after a 10 month hiatus, I finally sat down and did two tracks.

I made good use of Reaktor 4 and Korg Legacy, especially the MDE-X, and Superwave 8. I also used Exponent Delta Ping, Filter, and Force. My DAW is Cubase SE and I used an Oxygen 8. Sound Forge for some amateur mastering.

The first track is called House on Haunted Hill, a short "scary" lol trance track.

The other track is called My Home Planet, another trancy tune.

I've always had problems with the low end of things and wanted to know how I could improve it. I've tried the Cubase native eq and the MDE-X eq's but am still not happy.

Thanks for any comments and advice!

Of the group, I really liked My Home Planet. Strong driving beat with matching growling bass and trance leads. I've listened at least 5 times so far. Good music!

Hey 23!

Thanks for the listen...!
MY HOME PLANET
The drum sounds are Reaktor. Korg Legacy has an effect unit called MDE-X and I used it for compressing/limiting. Most of the delays used in the track were Delta Ping from Exponent. Pads are Reaktor and the main synth lead is several layered Superwave8's. The bass is Korg Legacy MS20. My DAW is Cubase SE, the cheap version of CUbase!
