what to listen for:
check out the stuttered fake lead guitar on each verses. it sounds cool. also, be prepared to catch the wall of phased guitar on verse two. it sounds like two guitar sounds colliding.
the culprit:
-glaceverb on drums with bright settings
-bass guitar is from roland xp50 finger bass patch
-lead guitar patch from roland pop exp. board
-drums were layered using two acid stock loops: played, tweaked and stuttered
-yamaha cs1x for the transition strings. adds drama to the track
-stuttering was done using acid pro 4
-rendered to stereo and brought into sound forge for compression (wave hammer), eq (wwaym free eq) and limiting (wave hammer).
