Heya, I love surround.. so I made a song.
Tried not to be too overzealous with the automation (didn't use any actually) and just made up a silly little tune.
Right click save as... first file is a dolby digital wave file so needs to be burnt to an audio cd and played through your dvd player into something that can decode dolby digital.
Fishbones DD WAV = 14 megs
The ac3 file can be played by Power DVD etc.
Fishbones DD ac3 = 3.4 megs
I'm yet to get a decent set of 5.1 speakers, my rears are mismatched and the sub wasn't even plugged in so you may need to have a play with your settings.
Want your music in Dolby Digital?
Send me a cd of yor source files - export each track as a seperate file (or encode them in .ogg and I'll download them) and I'll create a 5.1 mix for you.
It wont be mega awesome until I get a matched set of speakers but I'm getting better at all the automation and stuff.
Cheers.

Another track, very short but gives you an idea of surround drums (loosely from the drummers perspective this time)
kick, snare, hats, 6 toms, 6 cymbals.
Still hanging out for better rears... also forgot to send anything to the sub
