hi Andreas,
I just launched my new homepage,
with a nice CD from my better ego etienne,
nice smooth and relaxing tracks there
and some ambient stuff there too.
You might wanna have a look there

A beautiful flow (if it weren't for the annoying noise here in the back) and a great looking site too Stephan

i really enjoyed the composition ...
the mix , not so much ...
the entire mix has intermittant resonations , in the mid and upper frequency bands ,
that don't sit well on my ears ...
the lower frequencies seem under-represented ...
this may be entirely down to me , and my ears ...
it may have a bit to do with the 128kbps .mp3 ...
there seems to be a few artifacts , as well ...
i'll be interested to see if others feel the same ...
i'd also be interested to hear what you used on the track ...

Liking it..
but with headphones it sure is all around.. so much that this very listening point starts to feel hollow. A little less stereo widening perhaps?
do also tell about the composition process? where did you start etc..

ok I hear the message,
I will try to do another master of the track,
@ normal, there is some occasional crackling, that I cant get rid of,
it comes from the preset of protoplasm pro, I had it aloso in another song I did,
and could get it out only by changing the length of the notes, but here I didnt want it,
so I decided to just keep the clipping noise. I mentioned HG that this was happening, but
no cure yet.
I used Protoplasm and WusikStation, Zebra2 beta, Absynth3.
and a new FX-chainer beta from betabugs, that mainly was the reason I did it,
to try the chainer-plug.
It is very nice
you can load up to 12 plugins and move them as you want. ok only when you load 11
and it worked really nice here,
tho there are still some bugs, but I hope so it will be released soon.
So that means I used some FX too.
and how did I compose?
as usuall I start with a sound and I play one track,
then I take the next sound and play the next track,
and so on,
untill I have the feeling it´s enough tracks.
then I edit it and edit the FX and what needs to be edited,
change some midis for the tracks, some FX settings ...
untill I have the feeling the song is ok.
Then I load it into Wavelab and give it the final treatment.
and usually I have no idea where the song goes before I do it.
I just let it/ myself flow.
I hope my explanation of my way of working is understandable.
further questions are welcome,
collaborations also.

Not only TD like, but also in the style of Software and Klaus Schulze (especially the 21 min. long comonoboto). Hats off!
