where too with this electronica

Not sure where to go with this sort of stuff,whether I should try and develope the melody that is there with further parts,or add more layers and make it denser,adding a thumping kick and gate and call it trance,exaggerate some parts with EQ but thin it out and call it ambient.

any comments about this would be helpful.

I'd add some different textures, and filter out some of the low mids and mush which are making my speakers complain. Please don't turn it into trance
It could be very lovely with care. There are some lovely sounds buried. I'd be tempted to add a bit more evolution, some contrasting sounds, a lot more eqing and separation so we can here more of what's going on and maybe a countermelody somewhere along the line.

I like.
