Ok
I've played with these abit.
My only comment would be that the kick drum in the jazz kits are a little "boomy" and have a little bit too much ring to them (IMHO). But thats easy to deal with
Once again, Thanks

Not capable of layering 'em myself either Im a bit ashamed to admit that, you know having such a powerful beast as K2 and not using it to its fullest... but once exams are over I'll learn & layer 'em up for ya dude!!!

Having both B2 and K2, it would be pretty easy for me to layer these.Beardedone wrote:Way beyonfd my meager skills I am afraid. I have no clue haoe to layer them.But... you could re-map the Wav files yerself

I just did the bass drum and it took me all of 3 minutes in K2
I'll see if I cant get to this in the next few days.

I open up the kit in B2 and look at how the velocities are mapped, and then just punch in the numbers into K2. I almost have a kit done.Beardedone wrote:How do you know what velocity to set the each layer?
From what I've heard, B2 uses the same engine as K2, so it's really just a matter of figuring out the GUI.

I just downloaded your free sample pack and it sounds pretty damned nice!
Thanks, pettinhouse - I'll post whatever I make from it later.

It's easy, Gordon. If someone doesn't do it before I'm able to later tonight, I'll walk you through it myself for Kontakt 1.5. You're going to need the velocity/fade info from the existing kits though, and I don't have the option of downloading the kit files here at work, so if someone else wants to provide that for you it would speed things up a bit.Beardedone wrote:I wish I knew how to set up multilayers.
