I just updated another song onto my soundclick page. This is proabably one of my favorites, It is a few years old now(as far as the recording goes) but it still kicks ass live and still sounds good. Again the recording is pretty raw, but this is an 8 track recording, whcih in that light it isnt to bad. Could either click my sig or click here.

"All Is Made" best one yet. Who do you listen to nowadays?

Post

all right!! Yeah man its one of my favorites and Mat(vocals) Is singing at basment octaves, If we had a good vocal recording on that, it would be beyond sick, since we dont usually go TOO deep.

What I listen to nowadays?? Man you know I ma not really into anything new really. I listen to mostly 90's shit.. SOme greta bands I listen to today but arent necessarily new are:

Flesh Parade
COnverge
Mercyful Fate
I love Gorguts(their later shit although they are finished)
Of course MOrbid ANgel
I kind of like Hate Eternal but not much..
I still listen to Ripping Corpse(oneof my all time favorites..)
Yacopsae(insane German Grind,did I say INSANE! unreal)
and the list can go on and on,, but a new band or at least new album, by Confessor KICKS big time ass,, They had an album back in 91 and then folded, they had a real HIGH singer but his melodies were unreal, and a drummer that was the pinnacle back then, NOw the singer dropped his voice down and he still has got sickening vocal chops, and he can REALLY SING!!! Just great its. called "Unraveled" its more doom though, but its metal no doubt..
I still dig Crowbar, Eyehategod, all that NOLA shit, though I hate Soilent Green..

The energy that goes into this stuff amazes me. I used to play club soccer. When I played for Leucadia (and the Nomads for that matter) our trainer worked us out for two hours straight, running up and down stairs, around cones, all kinds' bullshit I wouldn't do now because I'm an apathetic lazy american. Of course we won games because of it. I ran cross country in high school. That's ten miles a day for practice. I quit after one season. It baffles me that these guys can plow threw song after song at such a fast pace.
