3. watto/lie to you - classy stuff, seems to want to kick back in near the end, full-length version please
4. oddbod/life is shit - unforced lilt, charming song, nice solo
5. markleford/blahblah - understated and addictive
6. patrick9/tribe vibe - kecak meets 'passion' era gabriel?
7. algodon/nile - natural harmony between the synthetic and real, evocative
8. chooch/u bend - very tactile
9. pepelogu/sombersprings - beautifully balanced
10. system era/stormy weather - makes me weirdly sad and tense, but in a good way

my honourable mention list was getting stupidly long, so instead i'll just say - strong month.

#10 Niko - corporate scum - Reminded me of one of the songs off "Scorpions-Virgin Killer" where they let someone other than thier vocalist sing - I think it was titled "Hellcat" Actually my favorite song on the album for the raw gutsy vocals
