I miss a bit of variation here, or maybe a solo instrument with a melody on top of it all. The sound is good though, and I really liked when the bass pad is setting in. It's creating such a good depth.SampleScience wrote:Made with the free rompler of tomg:

Thanks for the comments! The romplers in question were once available for free before tomg decided to remove in protest of the SynthEdit 'badge of dishonor' on Kvr. Too bad because these romplers were very nice (around 100mg each with 10 to 15 patches).Roman Empire wrote:I miss a bit of variation here, or maybe a solo instrument with a melody on top of it all. some great sounds here, except the ocassional scritcy higher pitch noise, but others may not agree.
It would sound better with a more lead sound for variation.
It does end very abruptly.

decent, a bit simplistic/repetative though. Keep up the good work.

Hey, thank you, it's simple in a eighties kind of way, but I agree some more variations (changes of chord scale for example) would be good.
cheers!

I really like the sound...it's a bit sparse around 1:00, and towards the end...I also agree with the variation comments, I really like the main synth part that gets repeated throughout, but it can be a little repetitious. Very good production, nice full sound.
Thanks for the link Tom, I'm checking them out now...

fun stuff -the lack of structure/variation makes this the perfect background music to an '80s cop movie
