Not bad. It's got a breezy, electro-jazzy feel to it, which I really dig... Very laid-back composition all-round.
I will say that the tambourin-shaker and that panning pshhhhh sound are quite fatiguing after a short while. I found myself wishing I had a treble control on my speakers. You might want to think about EQing a bit of that out, as it gets distracting.
The bass line is just like listening to a Soderberg filmscore (which is a good thing).
Cheers.

epsilon, if you will agree to never call this "jazzy" I will admit that it sounds fantastic!
You should definitely tame that sound that sounds like an icy verb on a tambourine
filled with static. I, personally, would keep it, but I think it detracts from the
ludicrously hi-rez, pro sound you've got here. Amazing depth of field, all the elements (except the "white-noise rain-stick" sound) are tamed and don't obstruct one another.
WTF is the "shaker made-out-of-crystal" sound?
Or the comb-filtered harp?
Lovely.
I think you could get away with "electro-dub" as a genre though this treads dangerously
close to New Age (I'm sorry, it had to be said).
I just can't get over how good this sounds even on my crappy headphones.
Well done, I'm keeping this song for sure.

Bahhh... I'll call it jazzy anyway! But I call anything with a smooth, laid-back feel 'jazzy'...

I will hold my tongue for the sake of this nice song.advaya wrote:Bahhh... I'll call it jazzy anyway! But I call anything with a smooth, laid-back feel 'jazzy'...
The only thing the US has to educate Europe about and they think jazz = Yanni?!
How are our expatriate, unapreciated jazz musicians going to find sanctuary in a
Europe in which John Tesh is considered jazz?!
Where will our genius musicians go the next time the US institutes slavery?!

Different from others of yours i've listened to - in a nice way.
There's just enough happening.
Good sounds & quality mix.

Nice and mellow. Good track. I didn't have any real problem with the highs.
