Doesnt sound anything like the IDM I'm familiar with.. this sounds like hard house/trance to me..

Its actually very driving I'd say.. I like the atmosphere a lot..

the percussion (kick drum and actually maybe the bassline too) might be a bit overly bassy.. I'm listening on small headphones and even so, it sounds like too much bass.. almost to the point of making the mix murky a bit.. and definately working me towards a headache.

I cringe at what the bass level is like on a proper speaker-based system... though my bass tolerance is most likely weaker than many's, I suspect the low-end is just a mush of indistinguishable sounds..

hmm the stereo field is quite nice... it really livens up the feel of the song.

the melodies played along that bassline rhythm almost have a psy-trance feel to them.. very dark and a bit mysterious.. I dig this.

I'd say nice work.. it doesnt really go anywhere.. it just thrashes with the thump-thump-thump and the boooooobaaabooeeoeeooo bass in the back.. but I still remain entertained throughout..
